The Japanese health care system is known for its cost effectiveness which allows for affordable health care for Japan’s people. In fact, it is ranked 10th in the whole world in terms of health care, according to World Health organization. There is a nationalized health insurance system in Japan. This insurance policy is called universal healthcare policy. Including the Japanese CRO, all government medical bodies, institutions and organizations diligently do their work to provide high quality medical treatment to all the people of Japan.
The insurance policy covers all kinds of injuries and illnesses, but does not cover pregnancy and child birth. However, there are some state governments in Japan who even provide this cover. The costs are really low in all hospitals, and patients in hospitals occupy beds for a longer time than in other countries like the US because of the affordability. The Japanese doctors and nurses are known for their efficiency, who work day in and day out to help provide satisfactory health care. The dentists are known to give dental fillings in just under three minutes. However, the concept of a family doctor is non-existent in Japan and coupled with the fact that costs of visiting a hospital are low, there is always crowding in the hospitals.
The Japanese CRO or the clinical or contract research outsourcing is an enterprise whose aim is to help improve the health sector by outsourcing pharmaceutical products, medical devices and appliances. The Japanese CRO also acts as a partner for the outsourcing of food supplements. Its main purpose is to provide contract services related to drugs and food materials. They are responsible for the clinical testing, storage of materials and also the statistical analyses of various reports related to the health industry.
Together with the National Institute of Public Health, the Japanese CRO helps to keep the private and public health care services in Japan of high quality.
