The place is so vast that I do not even know where to start. At my first glance, I could distinguish two big sections. They have a nice garden for relaxing and recreation, which was built in Roman (or Italian) style, as well. The center of the SIM, bordered by ancient temples, serves as a marketplace, or rather, a Forum.
Around the parts where I, Vazul Neximus hail from, there is an old joke, between two guys, and it goes like this:
- Can you swim? – asks one of them.
- No, I can’t – the other one replies.
- And if I pay you...?
Whenever newcomers arrive to the world of Second Life, they are greeted by the avatar selection screen, along with the hint they can change their initial looks instantly upon entering the Grid. Once you get use to the environment, however, you will be able to change your avatar or clothes very easily, and the vast majority of people will do so.
